Fire Safety Trailer

This is our recently purchased Fire Safety Trailer. This purchase was made possible from a grant from the federal government and was built by the Surrey Fire Safety House Company. This trailer allows us to teach children the importance of fire safety and allows them to see a real life setting that they can compare to what they have in their own home. The trailer has a kitchen, living room, and bedroom that look like something you would have in your own house. Some of the special features that the trailer includes are realistic smoke, a heated door, air conditioning and heat. This trailer travels around to all of Ringwood’s schools in the fall as well as is featured at Ringwood’s Public Safety Expo during Fire Prevention week in October.
