At 16:47 hrs on May 9, 2014, all Ringwood Fire Departments, Ringwood Ambulance Corps., and Ringwood Dive Team were dispatched to the Monksville Reservoir on a report of oil and bubbles surfacing in the water. Chief 260 first on scene established command and had the Dive Team proceed to check the water. After approximately 4 hours, no vehicle was found in the water as some initial reports have stated.
